Mad News  

  The path of formal education is nearing it's end for me. It's been a long journey with Max the Mutt, so long in fact I could have gotten a medical degree in this time. I don't know why I would though, I'd much rather draw people being cut open then actually be doing it any day.

 

  Which makes me wonder... could an internal anatomy course be beneficial for myself and other horror oriented illustrators in their artistic career? We learn about the bones and the muscles of the body, sure, but what about the guts? How do I know where the spleen is located? The dimensions of the liver? How long the intestine really is were it to be pulled from it's proper place?

 

  Maybe I could take up teaching my own optional class that caters to the aspiring artists of the dark and grotesque. Or just end up accidentally congregating a class of actual psychopaths in which case I think I'll pass on that idea.
